CareQuest Innovation Leadership

An Nguyen, DDS, MPH, is the Chief Clinical Officer of CareQuest. As a member of the executive leadership team, An drives clinical strategy to advance the organization’s mission and vision. She leads efforts to integrate oral health with overall health, guide enterprise-wide clinical initiatives, and position CareQuest as a national leader in oral health transformation.
An has dedicated her career to the care of underserved communities. She brings nearly two decades of clinical and leadership experience focused on advancing equitable oral health care, expanding access, and improving outcomes for patients and communities. Before joining CareQuest Institute, An was the Chief Dental Officer at Clinica Family Health and Wellness, a large, innovative community health center and a nationally recognized leader in health equity, quality, and interdisciplinary integration.
An has been appointed to and served on multiple policy, philanthropic, and academic boards, contributing to efforts in health integration, public health, and policy and advocacy. She is immediate past President of the National Network for Oral Health Access and is Chair-Elect of the Dental Quality Alliance. Her work has been recognized with honors for clinical excellence and leadership from the Colorado Dental Association, Oral Health Colorado, and Colorado Health Service Corps, and she was appointed by the governor of Colorado to the state’s Department of Health Care Policy and Financing Medical Services Board. An is also active in several national organizations, including the American Association of Public Health Dentistry, the American Dental Association, and the National Association of Community Health Centers. She is a fellow of both the American College of Dentists and International College of Dentists.
An holds a master of public health in community health and behavioral science from Saint Louis University and a doctor of dental surgery degree from the University of Tennessee.

Katie D’Amico serves as Vice President of Growth & Innovation at CareQuest Innovation Partners, the for-profit innovation subsidiary of CareQuest Institute for Oral Health. As part of the leadership team, Katie drives efforts to scale innovation and medical-dental integration across the health ecosystem. She leads initiatives such as the SMILE Health Accelerator and forges strategic partnerships across payers, providers,
startups, and investors to advance new models of whole-person care—from enabling preventive health screenings in dental settings to embedding oral health benefits into maternal health programs offered by plans and employers.
Katie brings over 15 years of experience working with health care leaders at Fortune 50 companies, large health systems, and emerging innovators—spanning enterprise strategy, ecosystem development, platform implementation, and go-to-market execution. Prior to joining CareQuest, she was a leader in Deloitte Consulting’s Strategy & Analytics practice, advising C-suite executives on digital health, data, and growth strategy. Her work includes building a new digital health business for a national payer, launching data-powered chronic care programs that delivered $250M+ in annual cost-of-care savings, and developing AI-enabled, value-based models across Medicaid, maternal health, and oral-systemic care. She also co-founded Deloitte’s AI & Data Strategy practice and authored thought leadership on the future of health and innovation.
Katie earned a bachelor’s degree in finance from the University of Illinois and a master’s of business administration degree from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
