­­­­SMILE Health Program Details

Launching on May 16th, Smile Health will match selected start-ups with custom curriculum and validation partners during an intensive 12-week process culminating with a Demo Day for potential investors and customers in mid-September.

During SMILE Health, you will validate and pressure test your solution through interactive workshops that include mentoring from subject matter experts and real-time feedback from the oral health community — from clinical thought leaders to patients and caregivers. The time commitment is between 10 – 15 hours per week. During this required 12-week period, there will be three concurrent sets of activities:

Blue Square 40 Mentoring – One-to-one time with experts from MATTER and assigned mentors who will have a week-over-week understanding of how the participant is progressing to help guide you through the process.
Yellow Square 10 Curriculum– Virtual weekly instructional sessions.
Red Square 40 Validation Study – The validation period will provide you with an opportunity to work directly with a matched Impact Partner. This portion of SMILE Health will allow you to build the structure required for validation testing and gain data to validate your solution and drive market readiness.
