Nick Ramos, MHA

Manager, Business Innovation

Nick Ramos serves as the innovation manager for CareQuest Innovation Partners. In this role, Nick is responsible for developing pilots and proofs of concept for new initiatives and potential opportunities. This includes creating business models and business cases, structuring implementation plans and timelines, and developing deployment strategies. Each new initiative is aimed at bringing innovative solutions to the organization and focuses on providing a patient-centered approach to dental care.

Nick brings nearly a decade of experience in the health care industry, including knowledge from both the payer and provider sides. He has worked with a variety of health care organizations, including large hospital groups, accountable care organizations (ACOs), and regional health insurance companies. Prior to CareQuest Innovation Partners, Nick served in several roles at Harvard Pilgrim Health Care, including managing corporate wellness programs, developing new health plan designs, and implementing digital products that improve a patient’s care coordination. He served as a corporate judge for MassChallenge HealthTech, a startup competition designed to bring digital health startups and health care organizations together to drive innovation. Nick has worked at Mount Sinai-Beth Israel Hospital in New York, where he assisted in interdepartmental process improvement and Joint Commission readiness. He has a background in data analysis and market research.

Nick is a member of the Association of Latino Professionals For America (ALPFA) and the League of United Latin American Citizens (LULAC). He has also served as a member of numerous employee resource groups aimed at promoting diversity and young professional networking among the workforce. He received a bachelor’s degree in human biology and society and a master’s degree in health administration from Cornell University. He is also Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certified through his prior employment. Nick currently lives in Austin, Texas, and enjoys hiking new trails and cooking new recipes with his wife, Jené.
